Note: It is preferable if buying a "Uniform Package" from an approved supplier that the postwar items in the package be deleted. The unit has some original and reproduction rental gear available until the proper items can be purchased. These are approximate time frames and should be used as a guide only. Note: Contrary to popular notions within the hobby, all SS soldiers were not issued camouflage uniform items in the latter stages of the war (the overall unit impression is the last nine months, Sept 44 to May 45). The German military supply system was simply being destroyed by the Allied bombing campaign, not to mention that Allied fighters strafed anything that moved during daylight hours. Therefore all SS camouflaged uniform items are optional.
