We reserve the right to refuse anyone membership for any reason!

We have strict membership requirements because we are interested in recruiting people who look the part of a wartime German soldier. The nature of our hobby places special physical demands on its members. Our "tactical simulations" take place year round, in the heat, cold, rain, and snow. The sites where the events take place feature a variety of different terrain. During these events our members are required to patrol, sometimes for hours, in full uniform and equipment. Obviously someone who is overweight will have a physical problem with this in addition to not looking the part of a combat soldier. If you are overweight then you are not the type of person we are looking for. Once your application is accepted there is a candidacy period of three events before a person is granted full membership and awarded the Regimental cuff band.

Membership is considered by the conditions below:

Be between the ages of 18 and 58.

Physically resemble a European.

Look the part of a wartime soldier. The typical German combat soldier was NOT overweight. If you are overweight you do not look the part of a WW2 German front line soldier.

Be a member of the WW2 Historical Reenactment Society, Inc. ($20 a year)

Be willing to "play the role" of a soldier for the short time you are in uniform.

Live in the geographical area of OHIO, INDIANA, KENTUCKY, WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA and SOUTHERN MICHIGAN in the USA.
