![]() The Dutch company of DAF imported thousands of Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge truck chassis between 1935 and 1940. The DAF company proceeded to build bodies and beds to suit their European customers. Many of these DAF bodied trucks went to the Dutch Army and were captured by the Germans when they invaded in 1940. This 1940 Ford truck was restored to resemble a Ford chassis imported by DAF and subsquently captured by the Germans. ©2007 by Barry Anderson | 1940 DAF Ford | | Return Home | About Us | Getting Started | Events Schedule | Vehicles | Contact Us | WWII Links | Event Pictures | |
